The group shows up, defeats the boss, catches it, and moves quickly to the next one. An alternative is to get a group of 3 to 5 raiders to travel together from gym to gym. Sometimes going to a raid and waiting for a set start can really slow down your progress. By steadily growing strong small group teams, rural players gain the ability to get more legendary Pokemon than they would if they just relied on large groups. If you cannot get 6+ players to a raid, sometimes you have to beat it with 4 or 5. While urban trainers will do small groups as a luxury, many rural players have no other choice. Raid rewards such as Rare Candy or TMs are directly related to Premier Balls.
